Beulah Nusbaum “Bea” Shriver, 89, of Westminster, died Thursday, May 18, 2017, at Hanover Hospital.  Born April 27, 1928 in Westminster, she was the daughter of the late Emma Basler Nusbaum and John Ray Nusbaum.  She was the wife of the late Marcus Shriver, Jr.

Before retiring she worked as a factory worker.  She was a 1945 graduate of Westminster High School and member of Grace Lutheran Church.  She enjoyed bowling in the Women’s League for 40 years, bingo and crossword puzzles.

She is survived by daughters Doris L. Riley of Hanover, PA and Sandra L. Plank and husband Carl of Green Castle, PA, grandchildren Jon DeFoe, Jan Young, Kristi Plank, Brien Plank and DJ Riley Jr., 7 great-grandchildren, a great-great grandson and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by a daughter Shirley Elaine Shriver, sisters Helen L. Green and Ethel E. Buckingham and a niece Dolores Farver.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, May 23, 2017 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at the Fletcher Funeral & Cremation Services, 254 E. Main St., Westminster.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, May 24, 2017 at 11 a.m. at the funeral home with Pastor Clementson officiating.  Interment will follow in Westminster Cemetery.
