Carol Ann Schwing

Carol Ann Schwing, 58, of Westminster, died Wednesday, May 31, 2017, at the Pleasant View Nursing Home after a long struggle with frontal lobe dementia.  Born August 6, 1958, she was the daughter of Mary Louise Starner Irving of Manchester and the late Paul E. Irving.

She graduated from Randallstown High School in 1976.  She enjoyed reading and doing crafts. She dreamed of being an accountant.

Besides her mother, she is survived by 3 children; Roseanna Marie Praydis and husband Robert of Hanover, PA, Charles G. Schwing, III and Christopher Schwing, both of Westminster, a brother Richard Irving and wife Jamie of Franklin, TN, sisters Noreen Medairy and husband Michael of Manchester and Davina Ropka and husband Steven of Katy, TX, two grandchildren Dominic Praydis and Tristan Schwing.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, June 3, 2017 from 10 a.m. until service time; 11 a.m. at the Fletcher Funeral & Cremation Services, 254 E. Main St., Westminster.  Private interment will be held in Mt. Olive Cemetery in Randallstown.  

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Johns Hopkins Division of Neuropathy, 720 Rutland Ave., Ross 558, Baltimore, MD 21205-2196.
