Carol Ann Williams

Carol Ann Williams, 69, of Toccoa, Georgia, died Saturday, March 18, 2017, at Landmark Hospital in Athens, Georgia.  Born January 4, 1948, in Maryland, she was the daughter of the late Charles Dieterich Jr. and Dorothy Barnes Dieterich.  She was the loving wife of 50 years to Raymond S. Williams.

Before retiring she worked for the Carroll County Public Library Headquarters for 19 years.  She enjoyed doing word search puzzles.

Besides her husband, she is survived by three children, Cheryl Webb and husband Brian of Westminster, Robert Williams and wife Debbie of Monkton, Shannon Williams of Toccoa, Ga., a brother Charles Dieterich and wife Shirley of Delaware, one sister Donna Blackburn and husband John of New Windsor, 8 grandchildren Lindsay, Tyler, Zachary, Rachel, Luke, Ryan, Michael and Kate and one great-grandson Elijah.

She was predeceased by her stepfather Edward Zavona.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, March 23, 2017 from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the Fletcher Funeral & Cremation Services, 254 E. Main St., Westminster.

Funeral services will be held Friday, March 24, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home.  Interment will follow in Evergreen Memorial Gardens in Finksburg.
