Charles Herbert Lambert, Jr.

Charles Herbert “Chuck” “Ginger” Lambert, Jr., 69, of Westminster, died Tuesday, July 12, 2016 at the Dove House.  Born July 20, 1946 in Hanover, PA, he was the son of Charles H. Lambert, Sr. and Catherine Lambert.  He was the loving husband of the late Carlotta Ann Dellospedale Lambert.

He worked as a mechanic and shop foreman.  He also worked for Hadens Trash Removal and Congoleum for 10 years.  He was a member of the Littlestown and Westminster Eagles, VFW Post No. 467, American Legion Carroll Post No. 31 and Westminster Moose Lodge No. 1381.  He was a collector of Budweiser mugs, M & M figures and enjoyed going to Twin Kiss and Plum Crazy.

He is survived by a son Gregory Lee Lambert and fiancé Jackie Storm of York, PA, daughter and son-in-law Barbara Ann DeRita and husband Jerry of Hanover, PA, grandchildren Ashley, Jessica, Joey, Brandon, Justin, Greg Jr., Amanda, Daisah and Bubby, 6 great-grandchildren, sisters Helen Parsons of Virginia and Dorothy Wagner of North Carolina, companion of 14 years, Brenda Jones, and a dog Gidget.

He was predeceased by a son Dwayne A. Lambert and brother Dick Lambert.

The family will receive friends on Friday, July 15, 2016 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the Fletcher Funeral & Cremation Services, 254 E. Main St., Westminster.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, July 16, 2016 at 11 a.m. at the funeral home.  Interment will follow in Bethany Cemetery in Taylorsville.
