David B Fringer, Sr.

David B. Fringer, Sr., 81, of Westminster, died Sunday, October 16, 2016, at Carroll Hospital.  Born September 19, 1935 in Westminster, he was the son of the late Myrtle Cummings and Roy Adam Fringer.  He was the husband of 53 years of the late Anna Mae Fringer. 

He retired from Lee’s Automotive as a mechanic.  He enjoyed wood crafting, country music and blue grass music. 

He is survived by a son David B. Fringer, Jr. and wife Bonnie of Union Bridge, a daughter Judy Petenbrink and husband Robert of Gettysburg, PA, a brother Charles Fringer of Hanover, PA, 5 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.

He was predeceased by brothers Donald Fringer, Kenneth Fringer and Adam Roy Fringer, Jr. and sisters Mildred DeMoss and Betty Sentz. 

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, October 19, 2016 from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the Fletcher Funeral & Cremation Services, 254 E. Main St., Westminster.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, October 20, 2016 at 1 p.m. at the funeral home.  Interment will follow in St. Paul’s Cemetery in Uniontown.
