Dorothy Jean Bentley

Dorothy Jean “Tootsie” Bentley, 78, of Hampstead, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, June 15, 2016, at the Dove House.  Born January 12, 1938 in Baltimore, she was the daughter of the late Nellie Raines Higgs and Elwood Higgs.  She was predeceased by her husband Billy Bentley, Sr., a son Richard Bentley and granddaughter Jennifer Jones.

She is survived by her 5 children and spouses Bill and Kathy Bentley, Louis and Wendy Bentley, Lawrence and Jennie Bentley, Vicky Koch and Tim and Lori Bentley.   Also survived by 12 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great grandchild and numerous brothers and sisters.

The family will receive friends on Friday, June 17, 2016 from 10 to 12 p.m., where services will be held at 12 p.m. at Fletcher Funeral & Cremation Services, 254 E. Main St., Westminster.  Interment will follow in Lake View Memorial Park.
