My heart is sad at the passing of one of my best friend's mom - Mrs. Dorothy Leatherman. I loved visiting her and Vestal in Reisterstown, in their home in Westminster. We had wonderful conversations and lots of laughter. After she lost her husband in 2010, Nancy and I would continue to visit her each time we came back to Md. My last visit with her was a few months ago in the assisted living home, and with her son Ron, we had her laughing at our sports stories of the past. That is my memory that I will cherish - her laughter and dashing blue eyes that lit up her face. She is now in eternal peace with her husband - God Bless the Leatherman family in their time of grief.
