Eva Margaret Yingling

Eva Margaret Yingling, went home to be with her Lord and Savior Wednesday, May 10, 2017. Born May 11, 1928 in Westminster MD. She was the daughter of William and E. Margaret (Braden) Walkling. She was the former wife of Carroll E. Yingling who passed away December 20, 2006.

Eva loved her church, family, the outdoors, wildlife, gardening, flowers, sewing, crocheting, crafts, bowling, volleyball, wallyball and poetry. She especially enjoyed writing her own poetry. Her favorite poet was Helen Stiener Rice. Eva was a giver who loved and hugged everyone.

Surviving are son and daughter in law Robin and Lisa Yingling of Buffalo Wyoming, daughters and son in laws Debra and Bill Gilbert of Westminster MD and Kathy and Joe Cornell with whom she resided for 30 years of Westminster MD. Grandsons and wives Eric and Sandy Yingling of Knoxville TN., Gary and Krissy Gross of Morgantown WV and Granddaughter Jaclyn Weiser of Brooklyn NY. Great Grandchildren, Sarah, Stephen, Selah, Salome, Samaria, Sion and Simeon Yingling of Knoxville TN, Ginger Joy, Clayton Lee and Lacey Jo Gross of Morgantown WV. Special Niece Anna Lamont of Terra Alta WV. Devoted caregiver Flo Ostrander of Hanover PA. Best friend Wilma King of Littlestown PA, Special families, Steve, Susan and son Travis Whitcomb of Westminster MD. Pastor David and Sharon Stonesifer and family of Owings Mills MD.

She was predeceased by brothers Welby, William and Walter, sisters Rosina Ziemann, Nellie Zepp, Mildred Freeman, and Katherine Young.

Funeral services will be held Monday, May 15, 2017 at 11 a.m. Fletcher Funeral & Cremation Services, 254 East Main St., Westminster, MD with her Grandson, CSF Campus Minister at WVU Gary Gross and Pastor Timothy Brassell of New Life Fellowship of Baltimore officiating.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday, May 15, 2017 from 10 a.m. until the time of service at 11 a.m. Interment will follow in Pleasant Valley Cemetery, Pleasant Valley MD.
