Frances D Knabe

Frances Delores Knabe, 89, of Hanover, PA, died Tuesday, October 10, 2017, at the Dove House.  Born September 10, 1928 in Baltimore, she was the daughter of the late Mary C. (McManus) Carter and Walter O. Carter, Sr.  She was the wife of the late Lloyd C. Knabe, Jr.

She worked as an office treasurer.

She is survived by a daughter JoAnn Zeman of Westminster, a granddaughter Amanda Zeman Wallander and 2 great-grandchildren of Colorado.

She was predeceased by a sister Mary Bezold, brothers Walter O. Carter, Jr. and Edward Carter.

A Memorial Mass will be held on Saturday, November 4, 2017 at 11:30 a.m. at St. Joseph's Catholic Church, 5055 Grandview Rd., Hanover, PA 17331.  The family will receive friends from 10 to 11:30 a.m. at the church.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Carroll Hospice Dove House, 292 Stoner Ave., Westminster, MD 21157.
