Gary Leroy Chalk, Sr.

Gary Leroy Chalk, Sr. 76, of Westminster, died Sunday, July 2, 2017.  Born April 27, 1941 in Baltimore, he was the son of the late Russell Walter Chalk and Francis Elaine Anthony.  His wife, Kaye Chalk died in 2016.

Before retiring he was a Mason by trade.  He served in the Army and the National Guard.  He was a member of the VFW Post No.467, American Legion, Post No. 31, and the Moose Lodge No. 1381 all in Westminster.

He is survived by 3 children, Gary L. Chalk, Jr. and wife Lisa of Sykesville, Rhonda Chalk and Robin Chalk Keiner, a sister, Beverly Chalk Hooper, and a brother, Russell W. Chalk, Sr.  He was predeceased by a sister Jean Carolyn Engel.

Graveside services will be held on Friday, July 14, 2017 at 11:30 A.M. at Garrison Forest Veterans Cemetery.  The funeral procession will leave the funeral home at 10:30 A.M.
