Geneva Lee Meininger

Geneva Lee Meininger, 69, of Sykesville, died Friday, March 24, 2017.  She was the daughter of the late Joseph Francis Dalfonzo and Gertrude Cole Dalfonzo. She was the wife of the late John Meininger.

Before retiring she worked for Maryland Cup for 29 years and in early years worked for Heick May Co.

She loved camping, bluegrass, country and gospel music.  She enjoyed walking and bus trips. Her and her husband were avid bowlers.  She was a caregiver, she loved to take care of people.

She is survived by her brother Joseph Rory Dalfonzo, step-children Helen Kidd, Clifton Meininger, Laura Eyler, Winona Barnes and Harvey Meininger. Step-sister Dorothy Rudik and niece Teresa Medicus.

 Memorial services will be held on Tuesday, April 4, 2017 at 6:00 p.m. at Fletcher Funeral & Cremation Services, 254 E. Main St., Westminster. The family will receive friends from 5 to 6 p.m. at the funeral home.
