Georgia R Boulmetis

Georgia R. Boulmetis, 92, of Westminster, died Sunday, January 8, 2017, at the Dove House.  Born March 12, 1924 in Weirton, WV, she was the daughter of Daniel and Anastacia Rosus.  She is survived by her husband Thomas Boulmetis.

She graduated from the University of Maryland School of Nursing in 1947 with a Masters Degree in Psychiatric Nursing.  She worked at Johns Hopkins Hospital at the Phipps Clinic.  She also taught at the University School of Nursing.  She was a member of The Greek Orthodox Cathedral of the Annunciation and the Golden Age Club.

Besides her husband, she is survived by son Louis Boulmetis and wife Judy and a brother Dan Rosus.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, January 11, 2017 at 1:30 p.m. at the Chapel at the Greek Orthodox Cemetery, 5917 Windsor Mill Rd., Woodlawn.  Viewing will be held from 1 to 1:30 p.m. at the Chapel.
