Helen Louis (Houck) Wiles

Helen Louis Houck Wiles, 85, of Westminster, died Wednesday, January 31, 2018, at Long View Healthcare Center.  Born May 13, 1932 in Frederick, she was the daughter of the late Earl William Houck, Sr. and Margaret E. Painter Houck.  She was married to Earl Beachley Wiles for 66 years until he passed August 19, 2016.

Helen and her husband were retired dairy farmers.  She loved collecting Holstein Cows and had a great passion for flowers and plants.  Helen has lived in Frederick County, Westminster, MD and Marshfield, MO.  She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother who will be greatly missed by her family and friends.

She is survived by three children; Terisa W. Hibberd and husband Bill of New Windsor; James “Jim” Wiles and wife Sharon of Westminster; and Lucinda “Cindy” Rhoderick and husband Wayne of Unionville; a brother Thomas E. Houck, Sr.; and a sister Gloria Labrush, both of Frederick.  Also survived by 8 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.

She was predeceased by sons Steven and Daniel Wiles, grandson Jeremy Hibberd and a brother Earl W. Houck, Jr.Graveside services will be held on Saturday, February 3, 2018 at 11 a.m. at Meadow Branch Cemetery in Westminster.
