James Walton Lowe

James Walton Lowe, 69, of Westminster, died Sunday, June 4, 2017 at home.  Born January 10, 1948 in Washington, D.C., he was the the son of the late Gordon Lowe and Mary Sanford Tibbs.  He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Frances E. Lowe.

He worked as a Tree Expert at Bonifant Tree Service for 36 years before he retired in February 2016.  He loved spending time with family and friends and enjoyed playing the Lottery, Poker Games, going to the Casino.  He was also a avid Minnesota Vikings fan.

Besides his wife, he is survived by his daughters Kelli Jean Lowe, Donna Sue Bell, Lori Ann Johnson, eight grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. He is also survived by sisters Peggy Cooke, Mary Coleman and brothers Lonnie Lowe, John Lowe, Richard Lowe and Melvin Lowe.

He was predeceased by sister Edna Mae Meadows and brother Edward Lowe.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, June 7, 2017 from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the Fletcher Funeral & Cremation Services, 254 E. Main St., Westminster. A memorial service will begin at 12:30 p.m.
