Jaye Marie Lauer

Jaye Marie Lauer age 60, of Crestline, CA died Tuesday June 21, 2016 at Loma Linda Hospital in San Bernardino, CA. after a yearlong battle with lung cancer. 

She loved California and moved back in 2003 to be with her longtime boyfriend Steve Rueben. They made a life together which included their beloved dog Mr. Stewart. He received that name because Jaye’s favorite performer was Rod Stewart.

She loved the beach, Jaye and her best friend Bonnie Biery spent many vacations at the Outer Banks. She loved dancing and music. Jaye took Ray to see the Beatles at the D. C. Stadium in 1966 when he was 8 years old, one of his favorite memories.

Jaye graduated from Maryland Medical Secretarial School with a degree in the medical field.

Born July 14, 1955 in Maryland, she was the beloved daughter of the late Raymond E. “Buddy” Lauer, Jr. and Orpha J. Lauer. 

She is survived by her brother and sister-in-law Raymond D. Lauer and Debra L. Lauer of Griffin, Georgia and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. 

The family will receive friends on Thursday, June 30, 2016 from 1-3 and 5-7 p.m., where funeral services will be held at 6 p.m. at the Fletcher Funeral & Cremation Services, 254 E. Main St., Westminster. 

Graveside services will be held Friday, July 1, 2016 at 1 p.m. at Union Memorial Church Cemetery in Everett, PA.
