Jesse Melvin Hall

Jesse Melvin Hall, Jr., 81, of Boonsboro, died Monday, May 15, 2017, at the Fahrney-Keedy Nursing Home. Born on November 7, 1935, in Brownsville, Pa., he was the son of the late Jesse Melvin Hall, Sr. and Elizabeth Gilpin Hall.  His wife Gladys Hall died April 26, 2010.

Before retiring he was a Plant Manager for Ekco Products, Inc., and he served in the Army.

He liked to play bingo, fish, hunt, dance, and loved to watch his favorite team the Steelers. 

He is survived by three daughters, Tina Stitely and husband Billy of East Berlin, Pa., Dianna Hornick and husband  John C. III, of Stafford, Va., Beth Kline and boyfriend Shannon Sanborn of Mt. Airy,  granddaughter Hannah Roth and husband Levi, great- granddaughter Leah Rose Sipes. 

He was predeceased by a granddaughter Ashley Sipes, and 8 siblings, Clarence, Samuel, David, Merle, Robert, Honey Lou, Melvina and Laura.

The family will meet at Fletcher Funeral and Cremation Services, P.A.  on Thursday, May 25, 2017 at 1:30 PM, to proceed to Garrison Forest Veterans Cemetery for a 2:30 PM service.

There will be a celebration of life reception following the service at the daughter's uncle's home.  Please contact them for more information.
