We are all shocked to hear of Kenny's passing. After nearly 25 years of separation, many of us had rekindled our friendships through Facebook.

This world lost a great American, Soldier, and friend.

He touched many people and could always bring a smile to your face. God bless you Kenny, your family, and especially your children. I hope you knew what you meant to so many.

Please accept my sincere sympathy for your loss. My son is 42 and it certainly would be too soon to lose him. May God grant you continued comfort and peace. Soon the promises of God will be fulfilled. Sickness and death will be defeated forever Isaiah 33:24 & Rev 21:4 Until then may God guard your hearts and most precious memories of your loved one.

Ken and I met in 1985 when he transferred to St Stephen High for our senior year. Ms Middleton, our math teacher, made us a team -- meaning we could talk freely in class. And we did. Eventually, she figured out we were talking about a lot more than math and switched our teams. But the die was cast. We were friends; then best friends; coworkers; and roommates. It was a great friendship. Ken was my brother.
To the family, I am happy I was able to visit with you on Sunday. It won’t be my last visit. You are in my prayers.
To Ken, I will miss you and I love you – but you already knew that.

All my love,

I sit here in awe filled with emotions and pain, trying just to maintain. I anticipated meeting with you, to talk about past pain and what we went through. We sat as strangers as we talked, listening to the said and unsaid, feeling our way through, I was very happy to see you. Brief as the time was spent; I think you were heaven sent. I have no right to complain, thanking GOD for the experience to be with you again. I leave my point of view of what I think of you, a man with a BIG forgiving heart that GOD intended from the start. I Luv U little big brother!!!!!!!!!!!

Gosh, where do I start... I give you the family of Kenny my extended condolences. I will keep you all in my prayers. Kenny was military buddies with my brother during our times of living in Pineville, SC and you all were living in Alvin, SC. Kenny would come to our house and hang out with us. He fit in just perfect as another brother we did not have we only have one brother, Eric. It has been many, many years, but Kenny was the type of person you could not forget. The one thing I mostly remembered about him was his hair. Boy how my sister and I would just mess it up just because we could drive him crazy. I could go on for days with great memories. I will continue to keep you all in my prayers and know that God has his prize back with him now...Kenny...
Rest in Peace and you will be missed...

Kenneth Edward Huggins - where do I start…Hardees’s, Moncks Corner, SC; September 1985. I met this high energy young man with a Big personality and a street swagger about himself. After getting past the fact that it was my first job ever in life, “Huggins” as he was know to Frank Palmer, Wayne Green and myself; took me under his wings and taught me the rope at Hardees’s and in life. He was the brother I never had and Inspite our differences, I am in awe about this lost. I will never forget the private times shared, the mentoring and nurturing moments. I will for ever treasure those times! God has you know my friend, so Rest on my dear friend, rest on…

May the Lord be with you and strengthen you with the lost of Kenny but as time passes it gets better just put in your mind that he is only away but in your thoughts and your heart you are always together, never apart. In times of sorrow remember that he's only away though he may not be with you the memories stays and when the hurt isn't to much to bear whenever you look around he'll always be there in heart. Because losing a love is hard may the Lord sthrengthen all of you at this time.

Rita, John, Liz & your family members,

In times like this many will say "Be strong". That's often easier said than done. So cry if you must, but just remember where your strength cometh from. Psalm 46 reminds us that the Lord is our strength and our refuge. He is a present help in our time of need. He is there for you when others cannot be. We love each of you dearly, and we will keep your family in our prayers.
