Margaret Mary Taylor

Margaret Mary Taylor, 100, of Westminster, died Wednesday, September 21, 2016, at Carroll Lutheran Village.  Born June 5, 1916, in Rossville, MD, she was the daughter of the late Mary E. Combs Zeller and Mark J. Zeller.  She was the wife of the late George Monroe Taylor, Sr.

She worked for Glenn L. Martin as a Rosie the Riveter during World War II.  She was a member of St. John Catholic Church, enjoyed volunteering at the Reisterstown Senior Center, and was an avid Orioles fan.

She is survived by children and spouses Betty Nunnally of Hampstead, Louise Roberts and husband Charles of Owings Mills, Eleanor Wallace of Reisterstown, Wilson Taylor and wife Marie of Owings Mills, Robert L. Taylor and wife Linda of Finksburg, brothers Joe Zeller of Parkton and Andy Zeller of Pasadena, 12 grandchildren and 26 great-grandchildren.  Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by a daughter Jeannette Rodgers, a son George M. Taylor, Jr. and 9 siblings.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, September 22, 2016, from 6 to 9 p.m. at the Fletcher Funeral & Cremation Services, 254 E. Main St., Westminster.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held Friday, September 23, 2016, at 11:30 a.m. at St. John Catholic Church, 43 Monroe St., Westminster.  Interment will follow in Wesley United Methodist Church Cemetery.
