Mary Christina Medicus

Mary Christina Medicus, 35, of Abbottstown, PA, died suddenly on Monday, August 21, 2017.  Born December 13, 1981 in Baltimore, she was the daughter of Barbara (Haymire) Medicus of Dover, PA and the late Frank L. Medicus.

She was a homemaker who loved her daughter, family, friends and dog Stoner.  She was deeply loved and will be missed by her family.

Besides her mother, she is survived by a daughter, Rose Mary Lenora Kisner, brothers Frank L. Medicus III, Justin Merritt and Steven Haymire, a sister Amanda Gilmore and grandmother Ruth Atkins.  Also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and extended family.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, August 30, 2017 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at Fletcher Funeral & Cremation Services, 254 E. Main St., Westminster.  Interment will be private.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to her GoFundMe Page or the funeral home to help the family defray funeral expenses.
