Reba Mildred Dubs Gorsuch, 77, of Westminster, died Wednesday, Feb. 13, 2013 at home. Born April 4, 1935 in Fairfield, Pa., she was the daughter of the late Robert Paul Dubs and Mildred Velva Shingledecker Dubs. Her husband Richard A. Gorsuch Sr. died Feb. 7, 1996.
Before retiring she began her nursing career at Annie Warner (Gettysburg) Hospital, then Good Samaritan Hospital and was a home health care nurse from 1981-1997.
She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Trinity’s Helping Hands and Reese and Community Vol. Fire Dept. Ladies Auxiliary.
Survived by daughter Barbara J. McComas and husband Bruce of Westminster, son Richard A. Gorsuch Jr. and companion Sharon Miller of Westminster, daughter Bonnie L. Giroux of Leonardtown, son Robert L. Gorsuch and companion Vicki Lurz of Westminster, sisters Queena Cunningham of Hanover, Pa. and Ann Minnich of Mechanicsburg, Pa., 7 grandchildren Melissa, Bradley, Renee’, Laurel, Davon, Andrew and Emma; 4 great-grandchildren; Alexis, Louis John, Esten and Klhoe.
The family will receive friends Thursday from 7 to 9 p.m. and Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the Fletcher Funeral & Cremation Services, 254 E. Main St., Westminster. Friends may also call one hour prior to services on Saturday at Trinity Lutheran Church.
Funeral services will be held Saturday at 11 a.m. at Trinity Lutheran Church, 833 Deer Park Rd., Westminster with her pastor; Rev. Dahl Drenning officiating. Interment will follow in Trinity Lutheran Church Cemetery.
