Richard Boston

Richard “Rick” Boston, 77, of Westminster, died Saturday, August 27, 2016 at home.  Born July 3, 1939 in Baltimore, he was the son of the late Robert Boston and Grace Elizabeth Bruce Boston.  He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Diane Boston.

Before retiring he was a house painter.  He was a member of the Moose Lodge No. 1381 and member of Church 3.0.  He loved to sing and was known as Rockin “Rick”.

Besides his wife, he is survived by 4 children Judy L. Howard and husband Samuel of Taneytown, Karen Sue Berner of Westminster, Richard B. Boston, Jr. and wife Kim of Hanover, PA, and Steve Boston and wife Cheryl of Westminster, a sister Margaret Wett of Westminster.  Also survived by 11 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by a grandson Ryan Deardorff.

Memorial services will be held Friday, September 2, 2016 at 6 p.m. at Church 3.0, 65 E. Main St., Westminster, with Pastor Jeff Simmons officiating. 

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Church 3.0.
