Richard "Rick" Scott Jones

Richard Scott “Rick” Jones, 54, of Westminster, died Thursday, October 20, 2016, at the Carroll Hospital.  Born May 24, 1962 in Olney, he was the son of the late Betty E. Riley Jones and Harry S. Jones. 

He was employed with Hughes Trash Removal.  He graduated from Linganore High School in 1980 and was an avid collector of baseball cards.  He also enjoyed watching the Orioles and cooking. 

He is survived by brothers David A. Jones of Westminster, Rodger C. Jones and wife Stacey of Westminster, sisters Deborah J. Jones McAbee and husband Curtis of York, PA and Cheryl Ann Jones Anderson and husband Lauren of Owings Mills.  Also survived by devoted friends Jerry Reese and Arthur E. Ensor, II, 9 nieces and nephews and 9 great-nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, October 22, 2016 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., where funeral services will be held at 1 p.m., with Deacon Charles Barnhart officiating at the Fletcher Funeral & Cremation Services, 254 E. Main St., Westminster. Interment will be private.
