Robert Poole Obituary
Robert Lee Poole, 52, of Mt. Airy, died Thursday, February 1, 2018, at the Dove House. Born April 27, 1965 in Frederick, MD, he was the son of Eleanor Redman Poole and Walter Griffin Poole. He is survived by his wife of 29 years, Catherine R. Poole.
He worked at various horse farms for over 15 years. He loved sports, he was an avid Ravens, Orioles and Capitals fan.
Besides his wife and parents, he is survived by sons Dwayne Lee Poole of Mt. Airy and Dwight Allen Poole and wife Brooke of Westminster; brothers Larry Poole and wife Linda and William “Peanut” Poole, sisters Mary Maybush and husband Robert, Betty Smith, Brenda Doyle and husband Doug, Lisa Boggs and a grandson Colt Ziggy Poole.
He was predeceased by a brother Walter G. Poole, Jr. and brother-in-law John Smith.
The family will receive friends on Saturday, February 3, 2018 from 3 to 5:30 p.m. at the Mount Airy Volunteer Fire Company Reception Hall, 1008 Twin Arch Road, Mt. Airy, Maryland 21771.
Services and interment will be private.
