Sophie Michael Ray

Sophie Michael Ray, 87, of Westminster died Sunday, July 24, 2016 at the Dove House.  Born on July 28, 1928 in Baltimore, she was the daughter of the late Andrew Dolomanuk and Julia Olnick Dolomanuk.  Her husband John A. Michael, Jr. died on December 26, 1984.

Before retiring she worked at Weis Markets.  She enjoyed sewing and her cats Tiger and Shadow.

She is survived  by 4 children and spouses, Diana and Donald Kelly of Arnold, Donald and Barbara Reich of Peachtree City,  GA., Daniel and Anita Reich of Port Charlotte, Fla. and Deborah and Robert Cass of Westminster.  8 grandchildren Denise, Tina, Jason and Ashley, Kelly and Patrick, Lindsey and Christopher, Daniel and Robert.  Also survived by 4 great-grandchildren. 

She was pre-deceased by 2 brothers, Andrew and George Dolomanuk.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, July 27, 2016 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 P.M. at the Fletcher Funeral & Cremation Services, 254 E. Main St., Westminster.

Funeral services will be held on her birthday, Thursday, July 28, 2016 at 11:00 A.M. at the funeral home, with Deacon Charles E. Barnhart, Jr. officiating.  Interment will follow in Hampstead Cemetery.
