Timothy Joseph Hagerty

Timothy Joseph Hagerty, 76, of Westminster, died Friday, January 13, 2017, at the Dove House in Westminster from Lewey Body Dementia.

Born September 28, 1940 in Baltimore, he was the son of the late William Patrick Hagerty and Margaret Irene Ritterbush Hagerty.  Survived by his wife of 40 years, Nancy Carol Hagerty.

Tim served in the Air force after high school and retired from the Social Security Administration in 1999.  He enjoyed gardening, hunting, NASCAR, a good beer, and spending time with his family and friends.

Besides his wife, he is survived by 4 children, Sean Hagerty and wife Faith, Brian Hagerty and wife Tricia, Michael Yaffe and wife Anne, Tracey Heller and husband Andrew, 2 sisters, Dorothy Krausz and Patricia Neumann.  Also survived by 12 grandchildren.

He was predeceased by a brother, Patrick Hagerty.

The family will receive friends on Friday, January 20, 2017 from 7 to 9 P.M. at the Fletcher Funeral & Cremation Services, 254 E. Main St., Westminster.

Private interment will be at Garrison Forest Veterans Cemetery.
