William "Bill" Francis Muse

William Francis “Bill” Muse, 82, of Westminster, died Tuesday, October 31, 2017, at the Dove House.  Born August 21, 1935 in Finksburg, he was the son of the late Deborah Ireland Muse and Fred Muse.  He is survived by his loving wife of 56 years, Millie Muse.

Before retiring he worked as a machinist for Black and Decker.  He served in the Navy and was a member of the Moose, VFW and former member of the Lions Club.

Besides his wife, he is survived by children, Kevin Muse of Manchester; Danny Muse and wife Ester of Union Bridge; Michele Brackett and husband Rob of Castaic, CA; Leslie Glick and husband Mark of Laurel; and Christopher Muse of York, PA; sisters Helen Vogt and Judy Naill, 11 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends on Friday, November 3, 2017 from 4 to 6 p.m. at Fletcher Funeral & Cremation Services, 254 E. Main St., Westminster and Saturday, November 4, 2017 from 10 to 11 a.m. at Mt. Zion United Methodist Church.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, November 4, 2017 at 11 a.m. at Mt. Zion United Methodist Church, 3006 Old Westminster Pike, Finksburg, MD 21048, with Rev. Louis Piel officiating.  Entombment will follow in Evergreen Memorial Gardens in Finksburg.

Memorial contributions may be made in his name to Mt. Zion United Methodist Church.
