Andrew Joseph Tillmann, 41, of Taneytown, died Friday, Feb. 10, 2012 at St. Agnes Hospital. Born August 18, 1970 in Randallstown, he was the son of the late Nathan Tillmann. Survived by his wife, Kathy Tillmann of Taneytown.
He worked as a dispatcher and was a 1988 graduate of Liberty High School. He enjoyed mud racing, hunting, fishing and especially his grandchildren. He also collected guns and NASCAR memorabilia.
Besides his wife, he is survived by son and daughter-in-law, Josh and Brittany Cole, daughter Melanie Cole and devoted friend Phil Holmes and son Colby Cole; all of Westminster, sister and brother-in-law, Amy and David Mossman of Westminster, brother John Tillmann of Manchester; grandchildren Trevor James and Taylor Grace Cole, father-in-law Robert E. Holtz of Westminster, mother-in-law Mary Lee Strevig and husband Ken of Finksburg; a devoted aunt, Catherine Shields of Baltimore, nieces Nicole and Kristina Mossman and nephew Nathan Tillmann.
He was predeceased by stepmother Anastasia Holtz.
The family will receive friends on Thursday from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the Fletcher Funeral Home, 254 E. Main St., Westminster.
Funeral services will be held Friday at 11 a.m. at the funeral home with Rev. Timothy P. Feaser officiating. Interment will follow in Carrollton Church of God Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be offered to the American Diabetes Association at www.diabetes.org.

Amy, It saddens me to know the pain you are going thru at this time. Having lost my older brother in 2008 and my baby brother just this past June,I can only tell you to keep the memories alive. Laugh at the goofy things he did and smile at the sweet moments you two have shared. Our thoughts are with you.

Amy, David, Nicole and Kristina, We are so sorry for your loss. I know how extremely close you were to Andrew and how hard it will be to heal your hearts. Find comfort in knowing he is at peace now and think back to all your memories of the good times you shared with him. I am so sorry to hear of Andy''''s death. I went to school with him from elementary through high school. My thoughts, prayers, love, and sympathies go out to Andy''''s family and close friends. May God bless you all and comfort you in this very sad time.

What can I say ? But I can remember the first yime we went fishing how proud he was of that two pounder He made me take it home so GG could cook it for him Then he found out how to clean a fish. The first he went hunting with the 22 in the house poor GG dress his first killl. and the time that he had me and John out in the yard just throwing the ball around and then the time he and I shot BAsket he charge me I block his shot elbow hit my nose he though that he broke it I said no blood no foul. and many more enjoyable time . Amy,David John kristina and nicole you have all my LOVE.

Dear Amy and family our deepest condolences go out to you and Andrew''s family. My mother was so very lucky to have been in your brother''s company @ your house on your July 4th parties..she talks about it many times.
