Ellsworth “Ellis” Egolf, 64 of Westminster, died Sunday, February 03, 2013 at his home. Born July 10, 1948 in Westminster he was the son of the late Charles W. Egolf Sr. and Natrul Davis Egolf. He was the husband of Barbara Egolf, his wife of 45 years.
Before retiring, he worked as a Carpenter and Huckster. He was a member of the North American Hunting Club, an avid hunter and enjoyed fishing and spending time with family and friends.
Surviving in addition to his wife is son and daughter in law Kevin and Sandra Egolf of Hampstead, daughter Michelle Smith of Manchester, grandchildren Veronica, Adrianna, Stephanie, Victoria, Zachary and Jordan, and a great granddaughter Ryleigh.
He was predeceased by Brothers Carl and Charles Egolf and great Granddaugther Alexa.
The family will receive friends Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9 at the Fletcher Funeral & Cremation Services, P.A., 254 E. Main St., Westminster.
A funeral service will be held on Wednesday at 11 a.m. at the funeral home with Rev. John Campbell officiating. Interment will follow in Westminster Cemetery.
Memorial Contributions may be made to Carroll Hospice, 292 Stoner Avenue, Westminster, or to the American Cancer Society, 1393 Progress Way, Suite 908 Eldersburg, MD, 21784.

We are so sorry for your loss. We always enjoyed going to the produce stand and talking to Ellsworth for a few minutes. We missed going last summer. He's at peace now and we surely be missed.

So sorry to hear about Ellis. I hadn't seen him for over a year. Usd to enjoy stopping off on the way home from work and hoisting a cold one with him. A nicer fellow than Ellis would be hard to find.
