Alvina "Marie" Farrow Obituary

Alvina “Marie” Farrow (nee Allen), 75, of Westminster, passed away on Wednesday, March 27, 2024, at BridgingLife Hospice Dove House. Born in Baltimore, MD she was the daughter of the late Alvin Elmar Allen, Sr. and Marie Dorothy Kues Allen. She was the loving wife of 55 years to James David “Jim” Farrow.

Marie graduated from Eastern High School for Girls in 1966. Before retiring she worked for Social Security. She followed her husband Jim through 20 years of his U.S. Navy career, traveling around the world. Living in Virginia, Bahrain, Keflavik Iceland, and three honeymoon trips to Hawaii. She enjoyed gardening, day trips, reading and computer games. She especially loved her two dogs, Lady Muffin Puppy and Lord Dexter Doodle.

Besides her loving husband, she is survived by her son James A. Farrow and wife Tracey; brother Alvin E. Allen, Jr. and wife Darlene; 4 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.

She was predeceased by her daughter Deanna Marie Farrow who passed away on January 9, 2022.

A private family memorial service will be held at a later date.
