Carroll Cavey Obituary

Carroll Monroe Cavey, 94, died Friday, December 6, 2019 at North Pines Assisted Living in Manchester. Born April 28, 1925 in Maryland he was the son of the late Gertrude and Monroe Cavey. He was the husband of the late Helen Mae Cavey.

Before retiring he worked as an assembler at Westinghouse. His favorite holiday was St. Patrick’s Day. He served in the Navy during WWII. He enjoyed dancing, NASCAR, woodworking, swimming, road trips, his mountain trailer in Harper’s Ferry and spending time with his loving family.

He is survived by son and daughter-in-law Wayne F. Cavey and wife Sue; grandchildren Jennifer Manvilla and husband Brett, Julie Deane and husband Brett, great-grandchildren Logan, Sawyer, Griffin, Lillian and Breleigh.

Graveside services will be private at Good Shepherd Cemetery.
