Christine E Yelle

Christine E. (St. Onge) Yelle, 66, of Hampstead, passed away on Friday, May 5, 2017 at the Dove House. Born in Springfield, Massachusetts, she was the daughter of the late Rose (Garone) and Joseph St. Onge.

She lived most of her life in West Springfield, Massachusetts, then settling in Maryland 8 years ago. Christine was an avid card player and enjoyed sewing, quilting and making sweaters.

She leaves her loving children, Gary Yelle, Jr. and his wife Tracey Gregory of North Adams, Matthew Yelle of PA, Louis Yelle and his wife Emily of Hinsdale, NH and Amanda Zane and her partner Crystal Starner of Westminster, MD, 11 grandchildren and several sisters and brothers.

There will be a Celebration of Life at a later date at the TOOMEY-O’BRIEN FUNERAL HOME, 1043 Westfield St., West Springfield, Massachusetts. A calling hour will precede the service.

Christine requested that friends and relatives wear bright, colorful clothing to celebrate her life and do away with the traditional black!
