Constance Lynne Robertson was born July 4, 1945 in Garden City, New York. The only child of Anita Webb, Constance (also known as Connie) was a graduate from Nassau Community College and started her career employed as a civil servant with the City of New York Department of Social Service for 35 years.
For the 30 years of service Constance worked as an Eligibility Specialist helping those who needed financial assistance. Within her years of dedicated service an opportunity arose where she had taken the Supervisor examination and passed.
She continued to work and dedicate her services with D.S.S. at various centers throughout the city until her retirement. Constance was a very active woman in her days, racing cars and her love for basketball was what excited her. Her loving, caring, strong beautiful presence will never be forgotten.
A loving mother and grandmother, she continued to live her life to the fullest to her, share her joy, her laughter, her wisdom and her values amongst her family and friends whom she cherished and loved so dearly.
On Sunday, May 20, 2018 Constance departed her life to be with the Heavenly Father.
She leaves to cherish her memories, her companion of 23 years, Beverley Belk, 3 children, Shawn Fortes, Eugene Trent Robertson, and Yolanda Robertson.
