Jacob Gabrial Bitzel

Jacob Gabrial Bitzel, 18, of New Windsor died Friday, September 14, 2018 at the Dove House after battling a lifetime of health problems. Born June 12, 2000 in Loch Haven, PA; He was the son of Joy L. Bitzel and long time companion Charles E. Luby Jr. of New Windsor.

He was a student of Carroll Springs School and an avid lover of music of all kinds. He also had a love of being outdoors, windchimes, and elephants. He was a jokester, ornery, courageous, and brave. He had an infectious smile and a love that was so pure and radiant. His nickname was Bad Boy Bitzel.

Preceded in death by maternal great great grandparents Mr. and Mrs. Harold R. Folk of Loch Haven, PA., maternal great grandmother Rosemary C. Young of Loch Haven, PA., and maternal great grandfather Allan B. Young of New Jersey.

Besides his mother, he is survived by his maternal grandmother Carmella Bitzel of New Windsor,  maternal great aunts Bernadette Young and Suzette Hockenberry both of Bellefonte PA, maternal  great uncle Gregory A. Young and girlfriend Dalene Lohr of Howard, PA., aunts and uncles Candy Bitzel and Chris Patterson both of New Windsor and Mr. Fred Bitzel, Jr. and wife Kim of Manchester, as well as numerous cousins, other family, and friends.

The family will recieve friends and family on Monday, September 17, 2018 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at Fletcher Funeral & Cremation Services, 254 E. Main St., Westminster. Funeral services will begin at 7 p.m. Interment will be private.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the funeral home to help defray funeral expenses.
