James L Butts, Sr.

James L. Butts, Sr., 84, of Taneytown, died Sunday, October 8, 2017 at the Dove House.  Born December 23, 1932 in Martinsburg, WV, he was the son of the late Mary (Biggs) Butts.  He was the loving husband of Hannah L. Butts, his wife of 60 years. 

Besides his wife, he is survived by sons and daughters-in-law James L. Butts, Jr. and wife Robin of Gaithersburg, MD and Robert Butts and wife Krista of Westminster, MD, a sister Jean, granddaughters Rachel and LeeAnne and a great-grandson Grayson.

Services will be private.
