Words can''t express the loss of a loved one, I will hold tight to my memories of your smile and laugh. Heaven has recieved a special angel and we have lost a beautiful women. Rest in peace aunt Joan, you will be missed. All my prayers and thoughts to those left behind to find peace. Always thinking of you, Samantha and Family

My Dearest Aunt Joan,
How do you explain to a group of people the extraordinary love I received from you. I think it must be truly impossible unless you have felt it to. Your love was always kind, patient and without judgement. I knew when I was in your presence that there was no need for pretense or fear and this is the greatest love of all. When you face this world with the types of exceptionalities I have this kind of love tells you everything will be OK. More than that it helps bring you to a place of self acceptance. For this gift and many more I have admired and respected you my entire life. A soul as beautiful as yours will always be cherished by the people in this room and all the others you touched over the years. Your love has helped us all to become better people and know the true essence of what it means to be family and friends. The place you hold in my heart is like the smell of rain after an afternoon shower in the Rocky Mountains. I wish you love and light in your next journey and will miss you with all my being.
