John R. Hall, 88 of Finksburg, died on Tuesday, July 31, 2018 at Golden Crest in Hampstead. Born February 15, 1930 in Green County, Virginia, he was the son of the late Charles Hall and DeweyAnn Morris Hall. His wife of 51 years, Alice Bernadine Hall died, July 11, 2002.
Before retiring, he was a machinist at Black & Decker for 37 years and then worked several years at Ryland Homes in New Windsor. In the 1970s he was very active with Civil War reenacting and the Boy Scouts. He truly enjoyed the outdoors and working on projects in his son’s yard. He was a member of Deer Park United Methodist Church.
Survived by his son, Craig H. Hall and wife Lisa of Sykesville and grand-daughters Sara and Abby Hall.
Per his request there will be no viewing or services. A private ceremony will be held by the immediate family.
