Joshua Blair Kraus

Joshua Blair Kraus, 23, of Mt. Airy, died Monday, July 31, 2017.  Born Oct. 6, 1993 in Gaithersburg, he was the son of Donald George Kraus, Jr. and Linda Louise Kramer Kraus of Mt. Airy. 

He worked in construction.  He graduated from Linganore High School in 2012.  He was an outstanding wrestler, devoted son, brother, uncle, friend and a wonderful person at heart.  He was a member of South End Baptist Church.

Besides his parents, he is survived by sister and brother-in-law Crystal and Brian Kraus, a brother Donald “Donnie” George Kraus, III, serving in the Marines and his wife Bethann Kraus of Cherry Point, NC, 3 nephews; Brian Knott, Jr., Landon and Camden Kraus, a niece Sierra Knott, maternal grandparents Theodore and Anna Kramer of Mt. Airy and devoted friends Colt Campbell and Devin Davis.

He was predeceased by paternal grandparents Donald G. Kraus, Sr. and Barbara Kraus.

Memorial services will be held on Tuesday, August 8, 2017 at 1 p.m. at the South End Baptist Church, 506 Carrollton Dr., Frederick, MD 21701.
