Kay Arleen (Bowman) Walls, 70, of Westminster, died Wednesday, April 25, 2018, at Carroll Hospital Center. Born March 11, 1948 in Finksburg, she was the daughter of the late Monota (Bitzel) Bowman and Arthur H. Bowman. Survived by her husband of 29 years, Douglas D. Walls.
She most recently worked at Tevis Oil as a Customer Service Rep. She was a care giver to her family; especially her aunts, uncles and cousins. She was a lifelong Elvis fan, visiting Graceland twice and seeing him in concert four times. Her pets were her joy and she enjoyed flowers and gardening.
Besides her husband, she is survived by a son Rodney Parks and wife Lisa of Taneytown; a granddaughter Jessy Rose Parks and fiancé Mark Osborne, Jr., great-grandchildren Alexis Wagner, Taylinn Osborne and Mark Osborne, III. Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews, whom she loved very much.
She was predeceased by a sister Audrey Hare and a brother Larry E. Bowman.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday, May 1, 2018 from 11 a.m to 1 p.m. at Fletcher Funeral & Cremation Services, 254 E. Main St., Westminster. Funeral services will begin at 1 p.m. Interment will follow in Evergreen Memorial Gardens in Finksburg.
