Kelly Lyn Petry

Kelly Lyn Petry, 47, of Fairfield, PA, died Tuesday, October 17, 2017, at Gettysburg Hospital.  Born October 2, 1970 in Baltimore, she was the daughter of Charles “Chuck” George Arnold and step-daughter of Jeanne Arnold of Ellicott City and the late Wilma J. Hodge Arnold.

She was a home day care provider.  She enjoyed riding her Harley Davidson motorcycle, cooking, decorating, crocheting, and taking care of her houseplants.

Besides her dad and step-mother, she is survived by devoted companion Joe Mester of Fairfield, PA, 2 sons, Phillip L. Petry and wife Mercede of Taneytown, Derrick J. Petry of Hanover, PA, 2 brothers Charles G. “Chip” Arnold, III of Ocean City, Stephen A. Arnold of Finksburg, 3 sisters, Christina Weiss of Olympia, WA, Valerie Phillipe-Auguste of Arbutus and Renee Craig of Westminster, 3 grandchildren Landon and Brynleigh Petry and Sophia Williams.  Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, October 21, 2017 from 1 to 3 p.m. at Fletcher Funeral & Cremation Services, 254 E. Main St., Westminster.  Funeral services will begin at 3 p.m. with Deacon Charles Barnhart officiating.  Private interment at Crestlawn Memorial Gardens.
