Kenneth Edward Lawrence Huggins

Kenneth Edward Lawrence Huggins, 41, of Westminster, died Saturday, July 31, 2010. Born August 12, 1968 in Trinidad & Tobago, West Indies, he was the son of Rita Ramsahai of Westminster and the late Roy N. Huggins. He was employed at Flippo Construction Co. as a welder. He served in the United States Air Force during Operation Desert Storm and served two tours in the United States Army in Afghanistan. Ken was also an outdoorsman, enjoyed spending time with his family, fishing, and was an avid Philadelphia Eagles fan. In addition to his mother, he is survived by his son Kenneth Huggins, Jr., of Kinston, NC, brothers and sister-in-law John C. and Julia M. Huggins of Westminster, Lyle Huggins of Trinidad & Tobago, sisters and brother-in-law Marcia M. and Craig Roberts of Kinston, N.C., Wendy Ramsahai of Trinidad & Tobago and Audrea Huggins of Baltimore, nieces Celicia L. Milford, Jessica M. Caroso and Brianna A. Huggins, nephews C.J. Roberts, Evan R. and Brandon A. Huggins, aunts and uncles Gemma and Toney Horton and James Huggins, cousins Jerry, Alan, and Adrian Huggins, and McKenzie and Felecia Lalsee. Also survived by cousins and a host of friends. The family will receive friends on Sunday August 8, 2010 from 2 to 5 p.m. and Monday August 9, 2010, from 6 to 9 p.m. at the Fletcher Funeral Home, 254 E. Main St., Westminster, MD 21157. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, August 10 at 9:00 A.M. at the Westminster United Methodist Church, 165 E. Main St., Westminster.
