Gail & girls:
Lester was such a blessing to so many. He is now with the Lord "absent from the body" (this one racked with disease and pain) and "now present with the Lord." -2 Cor. 5:8. Indeed, Jesus (truth personified) has set him free. -Jn 8:32. Soon we will be all together in Heaven and can catch up on the years we were apart down here. Please be assured of our prayers for you as you reflect on this temporary separation.

Les was an extraordinary human being. He always found the time and the methods to keep people in touch and bring them together. Looking at his WHS senior picture and the pictured posted on this memorial page, his smile remained both constant and infectious. The warmth of that smile came from deep withing and radiated to those whose lives he touched. I join with you in celebrating his love of life and many positive attributes. Absent but never forgotten.

Gail,
Les was so faithful about keeping the classmates of 1964 up-to-date. He will be missed. He was so good about looking after Ron's aunt Betty. He put people at ease.
You are in our thoughts and prayers?

Les and Gail "stood" for us during our wedding in Wurzburg, Germany in 1969.
We enjoyed many good times together. Les was always smiling, helpful and Avery good friend.
Our prayers and sympathy to the entire Carlson family.
