Lois M. Green

Lois Madline (Dyer) Green, 72 of Finksburg, died on July 8, 2017 at Dove House.  She was born on January 1, 1945 in Blacksburg, Va., and was the daughter of the late Rol Kemper Kessinger and Lucy Mae (Smith) Kessinger.  She was married to Kenneth E. Green of Finksburg.

She worked at Black & Decker for 20 years, and was a bartender at Angelo’s in Westminster, and worked as a free lance hair dresser at several beauty salons in  the area.

Besides her husband she is survived by 2 sons, Chadwick Douglas Dyer, and Scott Eugene Dyer, both of Finksburg, brothers and sisters, Almeta Young, Estiol Boyd Kessinger, Martha Ann Campbell, Patricia Diane Mc Coy, Sandra Jean Sims, Brenda Carol Hughes, Carrie K. Lee, Lucy Allen Martin, and Larry Eugene Kessinger.  Predeceased by infant son Bradley Lee Dyer, and brothers and sisters, Roy Drayton (R.D.) Blacks, Dan Raymond, Bobby Wayne, Harvey Lee, Doris Marie, and Fleta Louise.

There will be no visitation or service, inurnment will be private.
