Mark Lewis Brewer, 60, of Westminster, died Friday, November 2, 2018, at the Union Memorial Hospital. Born February 1, 1958, he was the son of the late Guy Leroy Brewer, Sr., and Kathryn Thomas Brewer. He is survived by his wife of 38 years Laurie Munshaur Brewer.
Mark graduated from Westminster High School in 1977. He was employed as a brick and block mason for Harry Lambert and Bruce Muller Masonry. He then worked for the Carroll County government as a zoning inspector, and currently as a sediment and grading inspector. He was a member of the American Legion Post 120 in Taneytown. He enjoyed coaching baseball.
Besides his wife, he is survived by sons Sean Brewer and wife Ashley of Indianapolis, In., and Kurt Brewer of Westminster, one granddaughter Mackenzie Brewer, siblings Kenneth T. Brewer and wife Ann of Palestine, Tx., Guy L. Brewer, Jr. and wife Doris of Silver Run, Earle H. Brewer of Littlestown, Pa., Richard L. Brewer and fiancé Peggy Storm of Hanover, Pa., Marvin J. Brewer and wife Linda of Westminster, Dean A. Brewer and wife Roxanne of Uniontown, Eugene D. Brewer and wife Renee of Westminster, Donna Rickell Green of Westminster, Dolly A. Long and husband Norman Lee of Westminster, brother-in-law Mike Munshaur and wife Vicki of Westminster, sisters-in-law Lynette Brewer and Linda Brewer both of Westminster, and many nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by a brother Ronald Wayne Brewer, sister Millie Brewer, and sister-in-law Sharon Brewer.
The family will receive friends on Monday, November 5, 2018, from 10 to 11 a.m., at Fletcher Funeral and Cremation Services, 254 East Main St., Westminster, Md. 21157. Celebration of life services will begin at 11 a.m. with Deacon Charles Barnhart officiating. Interment will be private.
