Mary Cason Obituary
Mary Eleanor Cason, 93, of Westminster, died on Saturday, June 30, 2018, at the Nanticoke Memorial Hospital in Seaford, Delaware. Born October 24, 1924, in Maryland, she was the daughter of the late Charles R. Griffith and Rose Huffman Griffith. Her husband Edward Norman Cason, Sr. died on January 9, 2012.
She was a member of St. John Catholic Church. She enjoyed her cat Delaware and playing Bingo.
She is survived by son, Edward N. “Ed” Cason, Jr. and wife Debbie of Bridgeville, Delaware, daughter Rosemary Jones of Baltimore, one sister Doris Beansach of Baltimore, and one brother Sonny Griffith of Baltimore. She is also survived by 7 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.
Prayer Services will be held on Saturday, July 7, 2018, at 10:00 a.m., at Fletcher Funeral and Cremation Services, 254 E. Main St. Westminster. Interment will be in Lake View Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends at the Funeral Home on Friday, July 6, 2018, from 2 to 4 p.m., and 6 to 8 p.m.
