Patrick O’Hara, 66, of Westminster, died Thursday, December 27, 2018 at the Dove House. Born on October 28, 1952 in Scranton, Pa., he was the son of the late Donald P. O’Hara and Ann M. O’Hara. He is survived by his wife of 30 years Kate O’Hara.
Patrick graduated from Westminster High School in 1971, and then served 4 years in the Army. Before retiring he was a technician and teacher at Sheffield Institute of Recording Arts. He has his FCC license, and he enjoyed shooting pool, reading, and spending time with his grandchildren and family.
Besides his wife he is survived by a daughter Stephanie Nicole Copek and husband James of Westminster, 3 grandchildren Camden, Jacob, and Payton Copek, siblings Kathy and Bob Owings, Michael and Nora O’Hara, Jack O’Hara, Noreen and Barry Long, Kevin O’Hara, Bobbi O’Hara and companion Tink Phillips, Bill and Kim O’Hara, sister-in-law Terri Buckley, and brothers-in-law Michael Buckley, Philip and John Nolet. Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his son Ryan Patrick O’Hara, and a sister Elaine Traylor.
The family will receive friends on Sunday, January 6, 2019 from 2 to 3 p.m. including a brief celebration of life service that will begin at 3:00 p.m. Interment will be private.
