Raymond S Morris

Raymond S. Morris, 87, of Taneytown, died Friday, August 11, 2017, at home.  Born Nov. 25, 1929 in Northumberland County, Virginia, he was the son of the late Raymond Marvin Morris and Ethel McKinney Morris.  He is survived by his loving wife of 54 years, Barbara Dawn Morris. 

Before retiring he worked for Dewey Jordan, Inc. in Frederick.

Besides his wife he is survived by four children, Patricia Ann Kolpack and husband Philip of Winfield, Raye Morris of Hanover, PA, Ame Morris of Williamsburg, VA and Joey Morris of Taneytown, two sisters Charlotte Reynolds of Callao, VA and Ada Griffey of Newport News, VA, two granddaughters Angela Butynski and Kristine Gesuele, two great-granddaughters Abby and Katie.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, August 16, 2017 from 11 a.m to 1 p.m., where funeral services will begin at 1 p.m. at Fletcher Funeral & Cremation Services, 254 E. Main St., Westminster.  Interment will follow in Evergreen Memorial Gardens in Finksburg.
