Robert Douglas (Bob) Hale died unexpectedly in his home on April 10, 2018 in Pocomoke City, MD at the age of 59.
Bob was born on July 21, 1958 in Baltimore, MD. He attended Westminster High School. He worked at Congoleum Corporation and Maryland Cup Company. After moving to the eastern shore of Maryland, Bob, who had many skills, primarily worked for many builders and contractors as a commercial painter.
Bob was an accomplished recreational fisherman and often spent time fishing with his brother David. He was a kind, gentle and generous person who loved his family. He enjoyed listening to rock and roll music, shopping at flea markets, being outside in nature, gardening, eating and cooking his favorite foods.
Bob is survived by his sister & brother-in-law, Charlotte and Ronald Keeney of Manchester, MD; sister and sister-in-law Kelly Hale and Linda Dickerson of Parkville, MD: sister, Robin Farinholt of Owings Mills, and long time companion, Linda Wooten of Pocomoke City. He is preceded in death by his parents, Robert C. and Doris Hale of Westminster and brother, David Hale of Catonsville.
A graveside funeral is scheduled for 10:00 a.m, Monday April 16, at Evergreen Memorial Gardens with a reception to follow at his sister's residence. Rev. Lee Blaisdale will officiate the ceremony.
