You were a true knight of grace and our dearest friend. You were always there to give us inspiration, in music and life. You were "St. Barna-boose, the Encourager". We will miss your smiling countenance and heart-warming phone conversations/emails. Most of all, we will miss your priceless presence in this world. But we believe you are in the arms of Jesus, Mary, and Joseph. We will continue to pray for you; we know you will always pray for us as we continue to carry our crosses! You will forever be in our hearts, and we will love you eternally.

Steve fought a brave hard fight, but God chose to have him come home.  Johnny, you have been the great and faithful brother and our prayers and thoughts remain with you.  Steve knew of your sacrifices for him during the trip to the 3rd world country and your reward will be great.  Keep the faith  as you move forward to do your very best to what you must to get through this.  Always remember, if God leads you to it, HE will pull you through it!  God Bless

I had the privledge to be a home health nurse for Steve over the past year and will miss him dearly.  For a man who has experienced so much pain, Steve had such a positive outlook and desire to live.  He lived life with such graciousness and strength.  While I will miss him greatly, I am happy for him and his decision to move on to the 2nd chapter of his life...free from pain and reunited with his parents, who he often talked of with such fond memories.  Until we meet again....bless you & I will have the fondest memories of you.  Donna.

I am a neighbor of Steve. The last time I saw Steve was when my son was visiting from Nashville. My son Scott is a song writer and muscian, so I knew he and Steve would hit it off....and boy they sure did. Steve was so kind and generous and thoughtful with Scott as they shared the love of creating music together. Steve was so joyful and animated that day. That is how Scott and I will always remember Steve. God Bless

Our smypathy to Steve's family and to everyone who will be missing him. Steve was a man who endured so much for such a long time, but was never without a twinkle in his eye and a smile on his face. May he rest in peace knowing he had such a possitive influence on so many lives. Truly, a life to proud of. We will miss you.

Steve was a true role model. A picture of grace through years of suffering. My mother (Nancy Lewis) speaks highly of Steve and got to know him well over the years. He was my teacher at NCHS and I remember working with him in the school store. A great man. Our condolences to his friends and family.

I  Feel so priviledged to have met Steve. I remember when his brother Johnny asked me to help take care of Steve when his finger was amputated. Thank god for Johnny being there and helping take such wonderful care of Steve for so many years. Steve you are pain free now. You can rest in peace now. Just do one thing for me, please watch down on Johnny, he really needs that now.    Laura Burke

Steve fought a long and hard battle with kidney disease but without the inspiration from his brother Johnny he may not have fought so long and hard.  You will be missed dearly by many but especially by Johnny who was always there for you.  May God bless you. Finely you are in peace.

If there was ever a finer gentlemen on this planet, I''ve never met them. He my Dad''s friend, my family''s friend and mine and thousands of others. He was the ultimate fighter, truly a warrior but the most gentle.  Surely the music in heaven rings loud today.
He was very good at everything he touched and did, but his specialty was people.
Everyone loved Steve Boose, as did I. Johnny, the loss hurts but imagine the reunion, when he is in all his glory.
He rests well.

Any day we had the pleasure of Steve's  presence was a good day. His gifts were many and he taught us plenty by simple example. He left me with many fond memories of our workouts at Leisure Spa. Good times. A finer gentleman or kinder soul I've not met. What an honor. Godspeed Steve. Always in my heart.

Words can not express the great loss...Our journey together began as your primary caregivers November 25,2009.. During this time we have witnessed you everyday caring about everybody else ... you have been the most "appreciative" person we have every met....you probably said the words "thank you" more in one day than some say in a lifetime.  We wish we could have met your Mom and Dad...just listening to you describe them gave us a picture of wonderful parents. We know your journey to heaven has been bitter sweet...leaving behind those you loved and cherished but knowing you were so excited to see your Mom and Dad again. Recently when you shared with us that you and Mom and Dad would meet us at the gates in eternity was so sweet. We enjoyed listening to you reminisce about the family reunions and you sharing how you missed the family get togethers...   So often you mentioned we would have a "best seller" if we could write a book including each of us in your circle of support.... we can see you smile as you referenced our "best seller".  Our laughs together are priceless. You fought the good fight...   We miss you much...Our Love Jerry and Judy

Stevie always had a smile on his face.  Stevie and his father John would always come to Muriel's farm when we had family gatherings.  My sisters Beverley and Mary would always be there, too. Stevie was a sweet and very kind man and will be sorely missed by all that knew him.

So sorry for your loss. Steve will be greatly missed. He was an excellent teacher at North Carroll and excellent guitar player. I always looked forward to listening to him play with Purple Haze. He always had a great smile when you passed him in the hall. We miss you Steve.

Steve is my couisn. We were in touch by e-mail since I moved from Reisterstown to Florida, 12 years ago.  I will always remember him as Stevie.  
He was and always will be an inspiration to me.  He was more interested in you then talking about himself. He did have a beautiful smile. Stevie and his Dad always found time to come to the Evans family reunions, at cousin Muriel's farm, where our grandparents grew up. I know he loved our family.  When we would see him or e-mails he would say, now don't forget me, knowing I was in Florida.  How could you ever forget Stevie.  I know I never will. We loved going to the Moose when ever he played music.  We loved to dance to his music.  We remember being ther when he sang for the first time with the band.
He sang the song "Johnny Be Good".  His Dad was there also. They were good times. Vince and I would be there for Stevie and his Beautiful Celebration. we will be ther in spirit.  We will miss his e-mails, which we received 2 weeks ago.

I am sorry to hear of the loss to the Boose family.  He was a good musician, great educator and a wonderful man. He taught business with a passion, played his guitar from the heart, and let us learn how to deal with adversity as he showed us the way. I feel blessed to have had the opportunity to partake in his classes, listen to his music, share lunch with him and be taught life in only a way he could teach it. You will be missed Mr. Boose. RIP

My condolences to to Steve and his extended family.  I had known Steve thru HS,college and physical exams to the the Army.  My father grew up wife his mother in Frederick County.  It has been along time since last seeing him but I have memories of him as we traveled those many years ago.  He will be missedl

Steve was in inspiration to people in his youth and young adulthood even before he started with the serious health issues.  When Bev first started dialysis and was really down, there was Steve to offer her words of encouragement.
Thanks for a life so well lived, Steve.  We will miss your upbeat smile and are so happy your suffering has ended.

Steve was my classmate and neighbor growing up.  I will always remember his easy smile. He was so brave over the years; I really admired his positive spirit.  My thoughts are with Johnny and the rest of the family.

My deepest sympathy in the loss of your brother. Steve was such an inspiration to me. He was always there at Westminster 1st Church of God
playing music to lift us up in worship,no matter how mush pain he was in
or how ill he was. His beautiful smile and kind ways will never be forgotten.
