Susan Lynne Murray

Susan Lynne Murray, 63, of Glen Rock, Pennsylvania, passed away suddenly in an automobile accident on Friday, September 14, 2018.  Susan was born July 21, 1955, in Cuyahoga, Ohio to parents Clarence and Walburga Smrekar.  She is survived by her loving husband of 26 years, Nelson Andrew Murray, her daughters Hannah Elizabeth Murray, Marie Elise Murray, step-daughter Kyleen Murray, her father Clarence Edward Smrekar, her brother Richard Smrekar and her nieces and nephews.

She was a wonderful, fun loving person, a source of strength and inspiration to her family, who always gave of herself, helping everyone and anyone, never expecting anything in return.  Her love extended to all animals big and small and she loved her little farm.  She enjoyed her friends, books on tape, gardening, canning and picking up seashells on the beach.

The Transition Program Coordinator for St. Elizabeth School in Baltimore, she was very proud of all her students and all that they have accomplished. In addition, she was a Founding Member of the Itineris Foundation Inc., of which she was also very proud.  She was also a member of St. Bartholomew Catholic Church in Manchester.

A memorial gathering will be held on Saturday, September 22, 2018 from 2 to 5 p.m. at Fletcher Funeral & Cremation Services, 254 E. Main St., Westminster.
