Virginia Whitehead

Virginia Whitehead, 93, of Westminster, died Tuesday, February 13, 2018, at Brookdale Assisted Living.  Born August 5, 1924 in Baltimore, she was the daughter of the late Luther Abner Wert and Cora Ashmore Wert.  Her loving husband Harry L. Whitehead died May 25, 2004.

She was a member of Westminster Church of the Brethren.  She was a loving mother, grandmother and devoted wife. 

She is survived by her 4 children and spouses, Keith Whitehead, Sr. (Dee) of Millville, DE; Dean Whitehead (Kim) of Westminster; Susan Timmons (Timothy) of Westminster; and Stacy Huber (Larry) of Westminster. Also survived by 11 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, February 15, 2018 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at Fletcher Funeral & Cremation Services, 254 E. Main St., Westminster.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, February 16, 2018 at 10 a.m. at the funeral home with Rev. Glenn McCrickard officiating. Interment will follow in Lorraine Park Cemetery.
